Geneva Watch Days
Note: The information below is regarding the 2023 edition. Info about the 2024 edition will be added as soon as it's available.
The second edition of the Geneva Watch days is taking place this year, with 40 brands participating. The brands that come over to present their novelties are typically smaller, more independent than what you find at Watches & Wonders, earlier in the year. They definitely include heavyweights though, including Breitling, Bulgari, Ulysse Nardin, Girard-Perregaux and Oris, to name a few.
The other main difference with Watches & Wonders is that Geneva Watch Days is first and foremost meant for the public (the former only opened to the public for the last 2 days, out of 7). There are various activities onsite, such as guided tours, quizzes and symposiums. The overall atmosphere is very festive.
Worth noting watches are typically not on sale at the event.

SWE Rating: Excellent
SWE tips:
If you can make it out on a weekday, it will be a lot less crowded than on the Saturday.
Unlike last year, the Symposiumes don't require registration, but be sure to arrive 15-20 min ahead of time if you want to get a good seat. (list of symposiums)
Given the somewhat decentralized setup, it's worth choosing ahead of time which brands you absolutely want to visit, to make sure you have enough time to get to their location. Fortunately, everything is within walking distance. Here is the list of participating brands.
