Festival Suisse de l'Horlogerie
Note: The information below is regarding the 2023 edition. Info about the 2024 edition once confirmed will be updated.
A very promising newcomer about to launch its first edition this year. It is organized by a non-profit organization created in 2022. Its goal is to promote and federate around Swiss craftsmanship in a festive and pedagogical way.
The event will showcase around various workshops and activities:
Independent watchmakers
Watchmaking schools
Artisans of highly specialized skills (such as enamelling)
There will also be a watch trade fair on the Sunday.
Far from the more marketing-heavy events such as Watches & Wonders and Geneva Watch Days, this will likely offer a unique and authentic atmosphere, true to the real Swiss watchmaking world.

SWE Rating: Anticipated to be Excellent, but let's see after this first event!
SWE tip:
The event website mentions that Kindercity next door can be used as childcare for parents who wish to visit the vent. However, the place has pretty poor reviews on Google Maps, with many complaining about high price and lack of maintenance of the activities. Why not just bring kids along? There's so much to discover around watchmaking for (almost) all ages...
